About the author

As Head of Design at IMEX Group, Anna ensures the IMEX brand is reflected across everything we do. She champions the belief that good design is good business, and that applying strong design principles to experiences creates emotional resonance and drives success.

Anna’s a multi award-winning art director and has worked across many platforms, most of her time being spent in publishing. She has worked with globally renowned fashion magazines including Grazia, Marie Claire, The Face, Arena, Elle, GQ as well as national newspapers The Guardian and The Sunday Times.

As part of the launch team for Grazia UK, she earned two prestigious D&AD pencils—awards widely regarded as the ‘Oscars’ for creative excellence in advertising and design—and won her 3rd D&AD pencil for design work at The Guardian Weekend Magazine. Anna has also art directed photo shoots for UK retailer John Lewis and numerous magazine covers, including a celebrated Marie Claire cover featuring David Beckham—the first-ever male on a female monthly glossy, which caused a media storm and sold out immediately.

Beyond her professional work, Anna is a lifelong Brighton & Hove Albion supporter (she saw her first match aged 2!) and also contributes to her local community through volunteering at Whitehawk Foodbank.
