Bahama Breeze: Incentives in Paradise
How Cohera designed a weeklong incentive trip in Nassau that blended relaxation, adventure, and cultural discovery for 500 guests seeking a refreshing break from their day-to-day routines.
The Challenge
Our client needed a weeklong incentive trip that balanced rest, adventure, and cultural depth for 500 guests visiting Nassau. It had to feel intentional, not generic.
Imagine, a program that reflected the beauty of the Bahamas while offering experiences for families, solo travelers, and thrill-seekers alike.
The itinerary required a strong sense of variety. Catamaran sailing. Snorkeling. Island excursions. Culinary immersion. Local storytelling. Each day had to feel distinct but still part of the same journey.
At the same time, the program needed to be seamless. Multiple partners across land and sea, shifting group sizes, and a full slate of activities meant every detail had to be coordinated with care.
Above all, the experience needed to feel worth earning: a true incentive in every sense.
The Strategy
We began with an island-themed welcome reception that set the tone for the week: relaxed, colorful, and rooted in local charm. From there, we shaped a five-day itinerary that blended movement, culture, and exploration in a way that felt effortless for guests.
High-adventure moments, from catamaran sailing to wildlife encounters, gave the group an opportunity to see the Bahamas from the water, the reef, and the coastline.
We didn’t stop there. Cultural touchpoints like cigar rolling, rum tasting, and local crafts added depth and connection throughout the program.
For guests exploring downtown Nassau or visiting Rose Island, we coordinated activities that highlighted the history, food, and people of the region. Every partner, venue, and excursion was selected to reflect the islands authentically.
Sustainability guided our approach. Locally sourced gifts, island-inspired décor, and thoughtful programming kept the experience grounded in place while adding a meaningful layer to the trip.
The program closed with a Junkanoo-themed celebration, a joyful finale that brought everyone to the dance floor and captured the heart of Bahamian culture.
