Pantone 2024: Peach Fuzz Event Design Inspiration

Every year, Pantone drops its Color of the Year—and every year, our creative team collectively leans in. Speculation flies. Group chats light up. Is it green? Is it bold? Is it a wild card?

Because at Cohera, staying ahead of what’s next isn’t optional—it’s the fun part. That sense of anticipation, curiosity, and what-if fuels how we approach every experience we design.

So when Pantone crowned Peach Fuzz as the 2024 Color of the Year, we were instantly on board.

Warm. Inviting. Soft without being sleepy. Peach Fuzz feels like a color made for connection—and that’s kind of our thing.

With its beige undertones and gentle glow, Peach Fuzz sets the stage for a new era of togetherness. Think less “look at me” and more “stay awhile.”

And because color is never just color to us—it’s a storytelling tool—our creative team wasted no time dreaming up ways to bring this hue to life. From florals and textures to lighting and layered details, Peach Fuzz proved it could play many roles.

Here are four ways we’re loving it right now.

🍑 Peachy Keen Quirks

Creative Services Manager Chantel Mysliwiec saw Peach Fuzz and immediately leaned into its dual personality.

“On one hand, it’s delicate and sun kissed. On the other, it’s quirky and unexpected—almost a little weird in the best way.”

Inspired by the unmistakable charm of Wes Anderson, Peachy Keen Quirks blends rhythmic patterns, playful color pairings, and dreamlike details into a design that feels curated, curious, and just offbeat enough. The result? An eclectic visual moment that stops guests in their tracks—and invites them to linger.

🌊 Just Peachy Beachy

Also designed by Chantel, Just Peachy Beachy is pure golden-hour energy.

Inspired by sunlight dancing across sand, linen, and ocean air, this concept captures that fleeting summer moment when everything is warm, glowing, and effortlessly chill.

“It’s about the softness of a beach day winding down,” Chantel shares. “That peachy sunset where life really is just peachy.”

The palette is light, serene, and luminous—perfect for transporting guests straight to a carefree coastal state of mind, no sunscreen required.

🥂 Peach Fizz

One letter changed. Whole new vibe.

Courtney King took Peach Fuzz and turned it into Peach Fizz—a bubbly, playful concept that feels like champagne towers, peach pie, and a party that knows how to have fun.

Bright palettes, bouncy textures, balloon installations, decadent dessert carts—this design doesn’t whisper, it sparkles.

“The fruit itself inspired the color story,” Courtney explains, “pulling in pinks, yellows, and orange tones that feel fresh and summery.”

Equal parts polished and joyful, Peach Fizz is proof that sophistication and playfulness can absolutely coexist.

🔥 Evening Embers

Peach, but make it moody.

Courtney challenged the expectation that peach only belongs in daytime settings with Evening Embers, a concept rooted in warmth, intimacy, and candlelit glow.

“I wanted to take peach into a richer, darker space,” she says.

Paired with deep wood tones, reflective gold accents, and soft ambient lighting, Peach Fuzz becomes cozy, elevated, and quietly luxurious. It’s a dinner party vibe that feels both unexpected and irresistible.

Soft, inviting, and endlessly versatile, Peach Fuzz proves that warmth never goes out of style. Whether it’s playful, serene, bubbly, or bold, this hue brings a sense of connection that guests feel the moment they walk in.

So—we’ll ask you what we’re asking ourselves:
What does the Pantone Color of the Year inspire in you?

Let’s make your next event peachy. 🍑
