Event Designs Brought to life in Arizona

How we work in the Grand Canyon State.

When it comes to event design, Arizona is the ultimate canvas.

Mountain ranges, stunning landscapes and valleys, there’s endless opportunities for inspiration here.

Designing with Arizona’s Natural Palette

Across Phoenix and Scottsdale, the desert provides a visual language that guides our approach. Warm terracottas and soft neutrals echo the surrounding mountains and valleys.

These are, after all, the landscapes that inspired artists like Georgia O’Keeffe.

Our method? We try to bring those tones into our palettes through carefully selected materials, textiles, botanicals, and lighting.

Randy Ballesteros, Designer, explains how the team draws inspiration from the landscape:

“From the warm, earthy hues of terracotta and sandstone to the vibrant pops of desert blooms, my aim is to find the most visually appealing details that can bring everything together to give the client the best experience.”

These natural influences help anchor our designs, ensuring every space feels connected to the place in a meaningful way.

Cultural Celebrations Brought to Life

One thing that constantly puts us in awe about Arizona is its rich cultural heritage. It provides so much inspiration for event themes.

Regional traditions inspire our designs, which celebrate the diverse history woven into the fabric of the state.

One example is Fiesta del Sol at Corona Ranch and Rodeo Grounds, a theme infused with the lively energy of traditional Mexican celebrations. Bright blues, oranges, and greens carried throughout the space, complemented by Mexican-inspired florals, terracotta vessels, and colorful decorative flags overhead.

Alyia Chenevert, Design & Development Manager, shares:

“The Fiesta del Sol theme was inspired by the lively and festive atmosphere of traditional Mexican celebrations. Bright hues of blue, orange, and green were used throughout, with Mexican-inspired floral arrangements enhancing the festive theme… Witnessing the final setup was a joyous moment. It beautifully reflected the warmth and vivid energy of the culture. It made the event truly memorable.”

We can’t stress it enough, these celebrations go beyond décor. Our aim is to honor the region’s spirit through texture, movement, storytelling, and authentic design details that immerse guests from the moment they arrive.

High-Energy Experiences

As much as AZ inspires us, not every event needs to draw from nature or tradition. We realize that.

Some of our most memorable experiences tapped into the state’s dynamic culture of sport, entertainment, and Americana.

At The Vault of Scottsdale, Open Road Adventure celebrated Arizona’s storied highway culture and the timeless allure of classic cars. A vintage showpiece set the tone for a retro-modern experience with rich reds, bold blacks, and sleek metallics that elevated the old-Hollywood-meets-desert-charm aesthetic.

We dare you to not be inspired by these palettes.

Amanda Davis, Senior Design & Development Manager, explains:

“The design for Open Road Adventure was inspired by Arizona’s storied highway culture and the timeless allure of classic cars… The final look was a striking balance of nostalgia and style. It perfectly captures the adventure and elegance of the open road.”

These concepts embody the energy and creativity that make Arizona such an exciting place to design, each one rooted in the destination, yet brought to life through thoughtful storytelling and playful detail.
